WinScale isn't designed in a boardroom. It's forged in the real world โ by someone who's spent 20 years solving problems where industrial equipment meets information technology.
With over 20 years at the intersection of technology, business, and public safety, Charles has built a career solving problems others can't. From running New England Automation & Control Systems to serving as Fire Chief in multiple New Hampshire towns, he thrives in high-pressure environments where expertise, leadership, and getting it right the first time aren't optional โ they're expected.
Currently serving as COO of a multi-million dollar recycling company, Charles has hands-on daily experience with truck scales, floor scales, and the scale service companies that support them โ giving him unique insight into the real-world challenges WinScale was built to solve.
His technical foundation spans PLC programming, ladder logic, industrial automation, IT infrastructure, server and network architecture, disaster recovery, and full-stack software development. Whether diagnosing automation systems for industrial clients or leading first responders through critical missions, Charles is the person organizations call when others can't find a solution.

Universal protocol support for seamless integration with any industrial scale.
Industry-standard streaming that works with your existing infrastructure.
Modern web interface for remote monitoring from any device, anywhere.
Full-featured API for custom integrations and automation workflows.
Enterprise-grade security designed for industrial network environments.
Every feature designed to solve real problems faced by industrial facilities.
WinScale speaks the language of industrial scales. Our protocol engine supports all major manufacturers โ Fairbanks, Toledo, Rice Lake, Cardinal, Mettler-Toledo, Avery Weigh-Tronix โ and custom ASCII protocols out of the box.
Connect via TCP/IP over your existing network or RS-232 serial for legacy equipment. The software auto-detects protocol type and configures itself โ no manual parsing rules needed.
Transform weight data into a standard RTSP video stream that any NVR, VMS, or IP camera viewer can display. No proprietary software required.
Customizable overlays show gross weight, tare, net, units, and stability indicators. Hardware-accelerated encoding ensures smooth playback even on modest hardware.
WinScale presents itself as an ONVIF-compliant camera on your network. Your existing video management system discovers it automatically alongside your real cameras.
This means zero new software for operators to learn. Scale weights appear in the same interface they already use for security cameras.
Optional cloud connectivity streams weight data to our secure dashboard. View live weights, historical trends, and receive alerts from anywhere with an internet connection.
WebSocket connections ensure sub-second latency. The cloud dashboard works on phones, tablets, and desktops with no app installation required.
WinScale connects with the tools you already use.
Where we're headed โ innovation driven by real customer needs.
Core scale-to-RTSP streaming with multi-manufacturer protocol support, ONVIF compliance, and customizable weight overlays.
Handle multiple scale connections from a single instance with independent streams and configurations.
Web-based monitoring from any device, comprehensive API for integrations, webhook notifications for scale events.
Machine learning for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance alerts, and automatic weight classification.
Automatic vehicle identification with scale events, linking weights to trucks without manual entry.
Dedicated hardware appliance for air-gapped deployments with local processing and optional cloud sync.
Expand beyond scales to unify all industrial sensor data โ temperature, pressure, flow rates โ into a single intelligent platform.
Join facilities across North America who've stopped paying the scale company tax and started owning their data.
